Security Consultancy & Instruction

Security installation, training and awareness, has been a component of our business model since inception.

This includes all aspects of physical security and site protection:

  • Access control systems and their integration 
  • CCTV systems, their preventative and most effective use from a monitoring perspective (live and historical)
  • Integration of technology and guarding services
  • CCTV integration and monitoring: we maintain a dedicated monitoring base for assisting investigations, incident review, management issues and OSH requirements.

 

Many of our key personnel have been involved in the provision of training and awareness programmes in various industries over the last 25-30 years. These include:

  • Qualified NZ-trained Teacher (TTC (Comm.)) with six years practical experience.
  • NZ Police:
    • Interviewing, gaining intelligence, people skills and giving evidence in Court
    • Armed robbery survival skills
    • Loss prevention
    • Fraud
    • Conflict resolution
    • Personal protection
    • Site security
    • Security technology (CCTV, intruder alarms and other security)
    • Police procedures (to lawyers)
  • Key team member developed the first Police robbery training video (still currently in use by the NZ Police) and while engaged with NZ Police provided training lectures to:
    • ASB
    • Countrywide
    • BNZ
    • National Bank
    • TSB
  • Training programmes have also provided to:
    • NZ Customs (to CT-Pat & S.E.P. standards)
    • NZ Post (Fraud)
    • CourierPost (Investigations)
    • Auckland City Council (Conflict resolution and negotiation)
    • Inland Revenue Department
  • Key personnel have been:
    • Responsible for Executive Protection Policies and Awareness Programmes for Executive teams in worldwide communications company (e.g. Kidnapping and Ransom)
    • Guest speaker at International forums such as IRR, IBC, CFCA, FIINA
    • Conducted GSMA Fraud Forums on Risk Management, Fraud & Security Management
    • Developed Best Practice instruction models for fraud investigators & audit (Telecommunications specific) which have been presented and used in International forums and attending companies
    • Guest speaker at CONFERENZ and EVENTS Inc.
    • Studied robbery teaching methods in the USA and UK
