Mark van Leewarden
Managing Director, Mark van Leewarden, was formerly a Police Detective with the New Zealand Police for seven years. After leaving the police force Mark studied for a Law Degree. While he was studying, he founded his first investigation company in 1985 to fund his studies. In 1989 he graduated with a LLB (Hons) Degree from Canterbury University and completed a research paper on the regulation of the investigation industry worldwide.

Mark holds a current Practising Certificate as a Barrister and was admitted to the Bar in 1992. Following admission he practised in different legal chambers covering crime, commercial and fraud matters. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, a member of the American Society of Industrial Security and the International Bar Association (IBA).

Mark has attended numerous conferences including, among others, IBA Conference (Miami) on Cross-Border Crime; American Society of Industrial Security (“ASIS”) (Atlanta) and National Association of Legal Investigators (Philadelphia) where he delivered an address on Global Investigation Techniques.

Brent King
Brent King was appointed as Director in 2006 and took up a 10% shareholding in the Company. He currently acts as Chairman of the Board. Brent holds a B.Com from Canterbury University, is a Chartered Accountant and CMA. Brent was the founder and former Managing Director of Dorchester Group of companies. Brent holds a number of public and private directorships including being a Director of Investment Research Group, Finzsoft Ltd and former Director of 42 Below Ltd. He also holds a seat on the Board of New Zealand Cricket. Brent has more than 20 years experience in financial, investment banking, underwriting, capital raising and accounting areas, assisting a number of public and private companies.

Cam Stokes
In September 2010, Cam Stokes was appointed as Investigations Manager. Cam is a former NZ Police member spending 12 years in the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), was the Detective Sergeant in charge of the Auckland Motorcycle Gang Unit, worked in the Auckland Drug Squad, the Organised Crime Unit and the Criminal Intelligence Section. Cam was also a former Police undercover agent and possesses expert knowledge on illegal drugs and organised crime. He has extensive practical experience in the investigation of serious offences, using a wide-range of investigative techniques including covert methods.
