Warden Consulting operates the only dedicated private sector undercover programme in Australasia and has done so for the past five years.
We have conducted over 40 successful evidential and intelligence operations worldwide, resulting in excess of 150 convictions for numerous criminal offences including theft, fraud, receiving and serious drug dealing. Over $2 million of property stolen from clients has been recovered.
Of those individuals who have passed screening we have trained and deployed 16 agents to date. Training is tailored to commercial applications and includes all facets of evidential requirements, operational techniques and Court preparation.
The leading New Zealand Court of Appeal decision on private sector undercover operations was established by a Warden Consulting operation: R v Karalus CA420/04 7 June 2005).
Warden Consulting was involved in the deployment of multiple agents on behalf of New Zealand Post in an operation coded Operation Hunter. This resulted in the recovery of property and evidence of thefts amount to approximately $1.5 million. The termination was done in conjunction with some 80 police officers from the Auckland Police, some 20 persons were arrested and charged with a variety of offences. See associated Media articles.
Warden Consulting was also involved in a drug operation in conjunction with the Auckland Metropolitan Drug Squad. This resulted in the arrest of a number of offenders for serious drug dealing matters. This was the first private sector drug operation in conjunction with the Auckland Metropolitan Drug Squad.
